The beaches within walking distance
Lido Rossello is a kilometre away: three minutes by car, twenty on foot. Then Capo Rossello at 1.3 km, the beach below the Scala dei Turchi at 1.4, Punta Grande at 2.7, Marinella at 3.9 and Pergole at 5. Five different beaches within five kilometres.
The Valley of the Temples, six kilometres away
Six kilometres from the villa. On the way there is Porto Empedocle at 7 km, with the railway station, and the Pirandello Theatre in Agrigento at 15. There and back in a morning, so you are in the pool for the hottest hours.
Scala dei Turchi: when to go, and from where
The white cliff is 1.8 km from the villa; the beach below it 1.4. It is not « one minute away » as you read elsewhere: it is four minutes by car, or a walk.
