In short. Without your consent the site only uses technical tools. Statistics (Microsoft Clarity), YouTube videos and the Google map start only if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time.

1. What cookies are

Small files a website saves in your browser. Technical cookies make the site work and need no consent; statistics and third-party content cookies are used only if you accept them. This site uses no profiling or advertising cookies.

2. Necessary: always on

  • Your language (localStorage): if you switch to English, the site remembers it.
  • The loading animation (sessionStorage): so it does not play in full on every page. It clears when you close the tab.
  • Your cookie choice (localStorage, “vce-consenso”): kept for 6 months, then we ask again.

3. Statistics: only with your consent

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) shows us how pages are used: clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session recordings, with form fields masked and no data that directly identifies you. We use it to improve the site. It sets the cookies _clck and CLID (1 year) and _clsk (1 day). Data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Microsoft privacy statement.

If you do not accept, the Clarity script is not even loaded.

4. External content: only with your consent

  • YouTube videos (Google): we use youtube-nocookie.com, the privacy-enhanced mode. Without consent, instead of the video you see a box to accept or to watch it directly on YouTube.
  • Automatic translation (Google Translate): it loads only if you pick a language other than Italian in the selector at the top, that is at your request, and saves the technical cookie “googtrans” with your language.
  • Google Maps (Contact page): without consent the map does not load and you get a link to open it in Google Maps.

5. Technical providers without cookies

Google Fonts and jsDelivr serve the fonts and some site files: like any server they receive your IP address, but they set no cookies.

6. How to change your mind

At the bottom of every page there is “Cookie preferences”: from there you can accept or withdraw each category. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads without those tools and the Clarity cookies are deleted. You can also delete cookies and stored data in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy.
